As a 20-year-old. student at Columbia, I had a 'guest professor' for 2 weeks. His name was Jerry Yester and I actually knew of him as a member of the Lovin' Spoonful. An early version of my song "Hey Girl" featured Jerry on piano.

A very talented, very likeable guy, he has many record credits, and he's been back with The Lovin' Spoonful for several years.
